Since 2014 the Sankofa Youth & Family has sponsored an annual camp located at Whispering Pines Camp in Franklinville, NY.

The mission of the Sankofa Youth and Family Camp (SYFC) is to strengthen the bonds of our families, to expose our youth and older family members to the awesome healing wonders of the outdoors, the Creator, and nature.

We further propose to have our youth participate and interact under the supervision of cooperating adult family members and other selected community adults. 

We offer access to valuable outdoor experiences as useful training to further expose our young adults and community. 

Agency staff members are confident and well trained to continue the overnight camping experiences on a seasonal basis.
